Graduate Application & Admission

Applications to the 'French in Comparative Literature' graduate specialization:

Applicants need to fill out the graduate application for the Program in Comparative Literature, accessible online at the Graduate Division website, and then send the application electronically to the Graduate Division. The Program in Comparative Literature is then notified and can access your application information. Please see for further information.

Please note that the Graduate Division must also receive your GRE General test scores (General Test: Math, Verbal, Analytical Writing). If you want to be considered for financial support (including University Fellowships), make sure that you take the test in time for the Comparative Literature Program to receive your scores by the mandatory deadline. GRE scores take approximately 2 to 3 weeks from the test date to reach the University.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) are required for all non-native English speakers, except those with a degree from an Anglophone undergraduate institution.

There is no pre-application necessary.
